We managed to turn this 4-bedroom, 1-bath house into a 4-bedroom, 3-bath house in the span of a little over a month. We “cut” a 3/4 bathroom into the upstairs bedroom with an innovative “semi-open-concept”, making it into a master suite, and added a bathroom into the pre-existing basement laundry room. My favorite part is the solar tube we tucked into the master shower to bring in natural light and highlight the glass tile accent wall.
Remodeled Kitchen near Lake Nokomis
We love small houses! This south Minneapolis house received a dramatic transformation by removing the partition between what was a cramped, awkward kitchen, with a under-utilized dining room. The house now feels bigger and the kitchen sings with it’s newfound functionality and style. All design, layout, and finish selections were done by Grey Duck.
Kitchen Remodel and Screen Porch Addition in Highland Park
Grey Duck designed and built this lovely screen porch addition in St Paul’s Highland Park. Finished in tongue and groove cedar, with a new french door from the dining room. We also remodeled a sorely outdated colonial kitchen into fresh and sharp space.
Finished Mason’s Restaurant & Barre in Minneapolis
Located in the heart of downtown Minneapolis at 6th and Hennepin in the historic Hennepin Center for the Arts (formerly a Masonic Temple) built in 1888. This 6000 square foot space had been fully gutted, save for one lonely mop sink in a far corner. We designed and built out the space with a full commercial kitchen, two bars, a private dining room with a rounded barrel ceiling, and renewed and refreshed the entire space into a classic and comfortable space.
Remodeled Bath & Entryway in Longfellow
This bathroom traveled all the way from 1988 (flower wallpaper and all) to present day on this remodel. We also removed some offending linoleum from the entryway, and integrated the trim and doors to match with the period style of the rest of the house.
